Southern Cassowary
This is a Southern Cassowary. The Cassowaries normally are 1.5-2.0 metres. There are the heaviest of all the Australian birds. They eat fruit, snails and small dead animals and live in Tropical rainforests.

I M EVA
My name is Eva, I come from China, I am a Cantonese. My husband and I have been in Sydney for 3 years. I am studying English in TAFE and I am a cashier. Normally, I work on weekend. My husband is a student too, he is studying accounting in Macquarie University. He works in Coles Express on weekend. My plan is to get a job in Post Office or be a data entry in 2 years. Although my English is not good enough to get the job now, I am studying Enlish to achieve the required level.
I like to make friends. Unfortunately, I don't have many friends in Sydney. Sometime I feel alone. So I am trying to learn something new. I am learning knitting, cooking and making the cards. I am very enjoying the process of learning them.
The above photo was taken in airport of Guangzhou when I came back from the holiday last year. The red flag with five stars in the picture is the Chinese National Flag. I miss my parents and friends. Luckly, I can meet them and talk to them thought the internet. So it seems that they are not so far from me.
Sometime I feel the life is hard here for our new immigrants, but I belive we will have a good life in the near future if we are trying our best.
